CDL Driver

Our client, a commercial roofing contractor, is seeking a candidate with extensive commercial construction billing experience.   We are seeking an energetic, hard-working, and dependable individual for our Glastonbury office location. 

The primary role is working weekly delivery routes; other tasks related to warehouse and inventory management are part of the job, as well. See below for further details.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Valid driver’s license required. Class A preferred.
• Warehouse/materials handling experience is preferred, but not required.
• Experience operating light-medium duty commercial vehicles (vans, box trucks) is preferred, but not required.
• Customer service experience is preferred, but not required.

POSITION DUTIES:

• Pick orders in the warehouse for delivery routes and load delivery vehicles.
• Make delivery of orders to the accounts. Attentive and careful handling of products is expected. Safe driving is expected. Professional and courteous conduct is expected at all times in and in all situations.
• Assist with miscellaneous warehouse tasks as directed–periodic physical inventory audits, rotation of stock, cleaning and organization, etc.
