Join our dynamic automotive team in West Islip, NY as a Service Advisor, where your expertise in customer service and automotive knowledge come together. This role is pivotal in bridging our clients with our technical team, ensuring smooth service experiences. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for understanding both automotive and motorcycle services and repairs, offering clients peace of mind through your guidance and expertise.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, understanding and documenting their service needs for cars and motorcycles.

- Provide detailed explanations of service procedures, timelines, and costs, ensuring transparency and understanding.

- Efficiently schedule service appointments, coordinating between clients and the technical team.

- Monitor service progress, keeping clients informed and managing any changes or additional requirements.

- Ensure all services are performed to the highest standards, in line with manufacturer guidelines and company policies.

- Address and resolve client concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of automotive and motorcycle technology, service procedures, and industry trends.

- Liaise with the parts department to ensure timely availability of required components.

- Foster a positive, collaborative environment, contributing to team efforts and sharing knowledge.

Qualifications:

- 2-3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry.

- Strong understanding of automotive and motorcycle maintenance and repair.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in an understandable manner.

- High level of organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Proficiency with service scheduling and management software.

- A commitment to outstanding customer service.

- Valid driver's license; motorcycle endorsement is advantageous.
